FreeLife International® Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) Chairman Dr. Norman R. Farnsworth died September 10, 2011 at a Chicago hospital as a result of congestive heart failure and type 2 diabetes. An internationally recognized scholar, Dr. Farnsworth, 81, initiated many significant projects in the fields of pharmacognosy and medicinal plant research.
