To recognize their outstanding achievements, more than 30 top FreeLife® Leaders were invited to the President’s Leadership Adventure with Co-Founder Kevin Fournier. Given only sparse details, Leaders rendezvoused in the lobby of Breakthrough’s host hotel Sheraton Downtown Phoenix at 6:00 Sunday morning. Following a 30-minute trip, participants stepped off the bus onto the dusty desert floor. Their early-morning adventure was horseback riding through the Arizona desert!

Horse-handling experience ranged from novice, with several Leaders, including 2011 Rookies of the Year Sakong Lee & Kong Chee Vang, never riding before to seasoned riders like Hal Mecham, Tommy and Tammy Rasmussen, Brad Hicken, Deb Hull and MEs of the Year Brian and Jill Roach who made it look easy.

The group spent a little time in the corral getting familiar with their new pals. Then they settled into their saddles for an hour-long ride. “We saved the biggest horse for Sakong!” joked Vice President of Leadership Development Brian Altman.

Finally, they returned to the Sheraton for a delicious breakfast. “We had an awesome time,” remarks Kevin. “What a fantastic way to wrap up Breakthrough 2011!”

To qualify for the President’s Leadership Adventure, a Marketing Executives (ME) had to average two Quick Start Pack/Pro Pack ME enrollments per month plus develop four new Personally Enrolled Star Directors over a five-month period.
