Persistence is vital to success. While it is true that desire and emotion draw people into FreeLife, these two factors alone will never retain a new Marketing Executive forever. Success in FreeLife is about staying persistent and following it through with action.
Your Success Stories represent the core of what FreeLife is about. Every week, we hear of more and more people who are using the TAIslim Total Body System with tremendous results, shedding unwanted pounds and getting back into the game of life with renewed energy and confidence. Additionally, numerous stories are pouring in demonstrating the positive impact FreeLife is having on families all around the world by providing more financial stability amidst a volatile global economy. Ray and I have never been more certain that FreeLife is the ideal opportunity for anyone seeking to become more in life.
As Leaders, we can determine our future. It’s rooted in our ability to unite as one and become persistent in sharing the same message each day. If I could impart one success key into the hearts of our Leaders worldwide, it would be “persistence.” Persistence is vital to success. While it is true that desire and emotion draw people into FreeLife, these two factors alone will never retain a new Marketing Executive forever.
Success in FreeLife is about staying persistent and following it through with action. Persistence says, “I’m here to achieve my goals and help others do the same regardless of failures, mistakes, or distractions.” Action separates strong Leaders from weak ones. Saying you desire something and having the commitment and persistence to go get it are two very separate issues. The strong, successful Leaders in FreeLife are congruent in what they tell others they want and in their persistent actions each day. In simpler terms, their words are backed up by their actions every day. I believe 90 percent of the reason Leaders fail to achieve what they want out of FreeLife is because of their inability to stay persistently engaged in their pursuit.
So how does a Leader develop persistence? Here are several ways:
1. Define a purpose that stirs your soul. Do you have a purpose that keeps you up at night and gets you out of bed each morning? If you were to reach it, would your life be changed forever? If not, then what are you wanting to accomplish with FreeLife and why?
2. Keep your eyes on the prize. Don’t get distracted by non-essential issues in life or let others keep you from reaching what you ultimately desire. You are worth it!
3. Surround yourself with people who will cheer you on as you cheer them on. Staying persistent in achieving what you want is much easier when you have people in your life who encourage, motivate, and believe in you. Work with those Team Members that want to take the same journey you’re taking. In the course of walking the journey together, you’ll find joy in reciprocating the same encouragement to others.
4. Don’t listen to negative criticism. John Maxwell says, “Persistence is the ultimate gauge of our leadership; the secret is to outlast your critics.” You can’t spend your valuable time with people who spew negative comments, for many times they have their own agenda to their negativity and it’s not to see you succeed. Negative people darken your heart and all they have to offer is discouragement. No matter what is going on in your life, you have the opportunity to focus on the bad or the good. You must choose to focus on the good!
5. Believe you can reach your goals. Your belief in reaching your goals is directly linked to your level of persistence. You have the ability to choose to believe anything you want. Choose beliefs that empower you; choose beliefs that enable you to see the good in people; choose beliefs that focus you on the future with an unwavering confidence that you will make it!
There is no doubt that you have an incredibly bright future with FreeLife. Sixteen years into our mission, I can tell you with absolute certainty that the best lies ahead for FreeLife. Most importantly, your best lies ahead in FreeLife! And together, we will work with undying persistence to build a Company that will change many lives for decades to come. Have a magnificent March!
