Dear Friends,

You know, I really, really love this time of year! Spring is in the air. The snow around the country is beginning to melt (in most places) and the flowers will soon bloom! Spring really represents a new beginning. A chance to start over with a clean slate. You can leave all of your past disappointments behind, set some new goals, and focus your time, energy, and enthusiasm on moving ahead. And, it’s all a choice that you can make right now! This very second!

You see, life is all about choices. When you really get down to it, every situation is a choice. You choose how you react to situations. You choose how people will affect your mood. You choose to be in a good mood or a bad mood. The bottom line: It’s your choice how you live your life.

And this definitely applies to how you treat your FreeLife business. You can choose to take action and build your business or you can choose to sit back and do nothing but complain about the economy or anything else. You can choose to lead your group with courage and inspiration or you can throw your hands up and say “I give up!” You can choose to be grateful for everything you have in life or you can choose to focus on and complain about everything you don’t have. It’s all a choice that you make every single day. You determine your destiny and happiness and it’s all your choice. It’s nobody else’s choice.

Legendary Notre Dame Football Coach Lou Holtz had this to say about choices:

“Life is 10 percent what happens to you and 90 percent how you respond to it.”

Think about that for a minute. Lou Holtz says that life is only 10 percent what happens to you, but 90 percent how your respond to it. Wow! What does that mean for you and me? It means that how we choose to look at things will determine our destiny. What happens to us doesn’t matter. It really only matters about 10 percent. What is far more important, even 9 times more important, is how we react to every situation. In essence, it is really all that matters.

This month is FreeLife’s 16 year anniversary and for the past 16 years, Kevin and I have made a choice every single day. That choice is to build this business, move this Company forward, and share the blessings of great health all around the world. We choose to live our passion every day in spite of many obstacles we have faced over the past 16 years. We have made a choice to create a family atmosphere with FreeLife, reward engaged Leaders better than any Direct Selling company we are aware of, be honest in all we do, live the Golden Rule, attempt to be humble, and be grateful and happy for all we have. We choose to have fun and are not afraid to be a bit different.

We also believe strongly in the concept of CANI (Constant and Never-ending Improvement). We apply that in all we do and are vigorously committed to getting better and better and better.

On that note, I want to let you know that “behind the scenes” we are preparing to announce something this summer that goes well beyond anything we have done before. I believe it is safe to say that this will be a dramatic paradigm shift that will give FreeLife an opportunity that we have never had before.

One of our top Leaders asked me the other day, “Is the big announcement a new product?” The simple answer is no. It’s far bigger than a product. It’s a paradigm shift. A revolutionary concept. An idea whose time has come where we make the trend our friend.

For all of our Marketing Executives in the United States and Puerto Rico, where this will be first launching, I encourage you to leverage this ramp-up time over the next several months and build as large a business as you can to be able to maximize what is coming this summer. In the 16 years since we launched FreeLife, I have never seen anything with this type of growth potential.

Carpe Diem! (Seize the Day!)

With gratitude,
